Christine Rossi

Christine Rossi brings a lifetime of experience and education to help a horse and rider achieve positive results in their all over performance and ability to work and play as a team.

An instructor and trainer in the Bay Area for the past 15 years, she has worked with numerous trainers and clinicians over the years, including Charles de Kunffy, Jeff Ashton Moore, Baron Hans von Blixen-Finecke, Laurel Bruun, Sherry Ackerman and other dressage clinicians as well as those in other disciplines including Les Vogt, and Tom Dorrence.

Chris has been in training courses with Mary Wanless, and classical riding courses with Sylvia Loch. She works on a weekly basis with Laurie Moore at La Jolla Equestrian Center in Pleasanton CA, where she is now based, and travels to Massachusetts to learn more about the classical training methods of Jorge Gabriel at Casa Lusitana.

She has also been assistant trainer for Julie Jones Thomas (Certified BHS instructor) and Eric Thomas in Martinez. Prior to moving to California, Christine worked and trained in Upstate New York.

A yoga practitioner and dancer most of her life, she incorporates the use of rider body alignment and strengthening into a complete training program.
